Senior Windows Endpoint Engineer

Overview

Senior Windows Engineer to lead the design, deployment and management of Windows 11 endpoint environments using Microsoft Intune, based at Vanguard's technology center in Hyderabad, Telangana.

What you'll do

• Partner with the Hardware Asset Management team to validate provisioned devices before new hire classes, ensuring successful enrollment, provisioning, and application installation readiness.
• Collaborate and support Global Tech Center, Executive support, EUO and application teams to identify and resolve technical issues, ensuring smooth operations.
• Work closely with Application teams to validate and perform end-to-end testing of new and updated ESP applications deployed through Intune and Patch My PC, ensuring successful installation and functionality during device provisioning and enrollment.
• Validate new hardware platforms for enterprise readiness, including BIOS, firmware, driver compatibility, and peripheral testing prior to deployment.
• Lead the design, deployment, and management of Windows 11 environments using Microsoft Intune.
• Develop and maintain Intune configuration profiles, compliance policies, and application deployment strategies.
• Understand the complexities associated with Microsoft networking requirements, including Entra AD, Intune, and Azure.
• Monitor and optimize device performance, patch management, and user experience.
• Provide Tier 3 support for escalated issues related to Windows 11, Azure Virtual Desktops (AVD), and Intune-managed devices.
• Stay current with Microsoft's roadmap and best practices for Windows and Intune.
• Document technical procedures, configurations, and standards.

What you'll need

• Minimum 8 years of experience in platform architecture, software development, or enterprise system design.
• Bachelor's degree (B.E./B.Tech) in relevant fields such as Computer Science, IT, or Software Engineering, or a Master's degree/Diploma in Computer Science.
• Experience with Microsoft Intune, Windows 11, AVD, and Microsoft Endpoint Manager.
• Strong knowledge of Group Policy, PowerShell scripting, and Windows security hardening.
• Experience with Autopilot, BitLocker, Defender for Endpoint, and Conditional Access.
• Familiarity with SCCM, Active Directory, and hybrid environments.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of OKTA and Zscaler is beneficial.
• Microsoft certifications such as MD-102, MS-500, or AZ-104.
• Knowledge of ITIL practices and Agile methodologies.
• Experience in enterprise environments with 10,000+ endpoints.
