Service Engineer - SCADA

Overview

Lead end-to-end software system integration for electrical-grid transmission, distribution, and market-management projects. Install, configure, customize, test, and support software solutions across project delivery stages.

What you'll do

• Install, configure, and troubleshoot software applications.
• Customize software solutions to meet requirements.
• Install and configure relational databases.
• Implement systems and perform customer acceptance tests on site.
• Execute integration testing and distinguish configuration issues from product defects.
• Support design teams for SCADA/ADMS systems.
• Transfer project knowledge to maintenance teams and provide back-end support when required.

What you'll need

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree from an accredited university or college, or a high school diploma/GED with 2–3 years of Services experience.
• Basic understanding of ADMS functionality and implementation.
• Basic knowledge of software integration, development, testing, and commissioning.
• Configuration and administration knowledge of Windows Server 2016/2019/2022/2025 and/or RHEL 7/8.
• Knowledge of software configuration and deployment management.
• Scripting experience with PowerShell, Perl, Python, batch, or bash.
• Fluent English and willingness to travel.

Nice to have

• Computer Science, IT Networking, Software Integration, or Software Deployment studies.
• SQL Server or Oracle knowledge.
• Experience integrating and testing complex software systems with minimal supervision.
