ServiceNow Engineer - ITOM

Overview

ServiceNow Engineer (ITOM) responsible for designing, developing, and implementing ServiceNow ITOM solutions with a focus on CMDB/CSDM, application mapping, and vulnerability management.

What you'll do

• Drive adoption and continuous improvement of ITOM, CMDB, and CSDM with controls for configuration data quality.
• Design and implement ServiceNow Application Mapping to manage relationships between infrastructure and applications.
• Implement integrations between ServiceNow and other enterprise applications to support ITOM/CMDB/vulnerability capabilities.
• Define and enforce CMDB governance and data quality standards.
• Perform data audits, health checks, and reconciliation.
• Serve as a Tier 3 escalation point for ServiceNow Operations issue resolution.
• Stay current on ServiceNow features and recommend improvements.

What you'll need

• 3+ years of experience in ServiceNow development and administration.
• Expertise in ITOM, CMDB, Application Mapping, and Vulnerability Management.
• Deep understanding of ServiceNow MID-server architecture and Discovery components (optimization, patterns, schedules, cloud discovery, Event Management).
• Strong JavaScript, Glide API, and ServiceNow scripting skills.
• Experience integrating ServiceNow with other enterprise systems.
• Proven bias for low-code/no-code development approaches.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

• Location: Mahadevapura Hobli, Bengaluru, Karnataka, India.
• Occasional travel: nationally and internationally.
• Work arrangement: Fortive office in Bangalore with option of remote work 1 day per week.
