Servo Drives development - Electrical Design Engineer

Overview

Electrical Design Engineer focused on developing and troubleshooting servo drives, including design, analysis, testing, documentation, and supplier coordination.

What you'll do

• Design or modify electrical/electronic assemblies, layouts, schematics, drawings, or specifications.
• Identify and troubleshoot complex electrical problems with limited supervision.
• Define, coordinate, perform, and generate engineering test reports with limited supervision.
• Perform engineering analysis of difficult scope.
• Technically lead or execute engineering projects, including development of key suppliers.
• Generate electrical product specifications and specify/review engineering documentation.
• Serve as a resource for junior colleagues and lead project teams as needed.

What you'll need

• Bachelor’s degree.
• 7-10 years of experience in a related field.
• Deeper understanding and knowledge of drives and controllers.
• Hands-on experience developing drives and controllers.
• Understanding of hardware circuit design for controllers/drives.
• Knowledge of UL standards and European compliance standards.
