Shift Engineer

Overview

Oversee safe and efficient 24/7 facility operations, manage plant systems through control interfaces, and lead shift operations teams to ensure uninterrupted service delivery.

What you'll do

• Operate and monitor plant processes via Distributive Control System (DCS) and control devices
• Ensure optimal electrical distribution and mechanical systems performance
• Manage shift staffing to maintain safe facility operations
• Direct and coordinate Plant Operators during assigned shifts
• Communicate effectively with Shift Charge Engineers across all shifts
• Ensure team compliance with safety protocols and operational procedures
• Complete and verify shift round checklists and routine testing schedules (daily/weekly/monthly)
• Maintain equipment changeover documentation
• Identify equipment issues and coordinate with Plant Maintenance Team
• Support budget planning and expenditure control for shift operations
• Contribute to operational efficiency improvements

What you'll need

• B.Tech / B.E. in Electrical & Electronics Engineering (EEE) or Mechanical Engineering, OR Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical & Electronics Engineering with relevant experience
