Service Engineer

Overview

Install, commission, troubleshoot and maintain Integrated Building Management Systems and ELV systems across commercial, industrial, healthcare and data center environments.

What you'll do

• Install, test, commission and maintain IBMS/BMS systems.
• Troubleshoot and rectify faults in building automation systems and field devices.
• Configure and maintain Building Management System (BMS), HVAC Controls, Fire Alarm Systems, Access Control Systems, CCTV and Video Surveillance, Public Address Systems, Intrusion Detection Systems and Energy Monitoring Systems.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance activities.
• Attend service calls and provide timely resolution to customers.
• Analyze system alarms, logs and network communication issues.
• Coordinate with clients, OEMs and internal teams during maintenance and shutdown activities.
• Prepare service reports, maintenance records and site documentation.
• Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.

What you'll need

• Strong knowledge of HVAC systems (AHU, FCU, Chillers).
• Strong knowledge of BACnet, Modbus and LonWorks protocols.
• Strong knowledge of Fire Alarm Systems and ELV Systems.
• Strong knowledge of PLC/DDC Controllers.
• Strong knowledge of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, Ethernet).
• Ability to read electrical schematics and control drawings.
• Experience in system integration and troubleshooting.
• Diploma / BE / B.Tech in Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation, E&C or related discipline.
• 3–5 years of experience in IBMS/BMS service, maintenance or commissioning roles.
