Overview
Field service engineering role supporting the installed base of HVDC systems with operation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and customer support.
What you'll do
- Deliver HSE commitment aligned with standards, policies, and guidelines.
- Act as the primary customer interface for the HVDC installed base.
- Troubleshoot and restore HVDC systems and equipment during failures or outages.
- Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance for HVDC and HVAC equipment.
- Monitor installed HVDC assets using asset management tools for performance monitoring and inventory control.
- Coordinate replacement, installation, and commissioning for failed HVDC/HVAC equipment.
- Support outages, fault investigations, emergency response, and root cause analysis.
What you'll need
- 5 years of experience in HVDC/HVAC systems, substations, power transmission, grid integration, or power system maintenance.
- Diploma or bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, electronics engineering, or a related discipline.
- Hands-on troubleshooting, maintenance, and operation experience for electrical equipment in utility, transmission, or industrial environments.
- Customer-facing service role experience and technical support activities.
- Exposure to outage management, fault diagnosis, equipment replacement, and commissioning activities.
- Proficiency in spoken and written English is required.
