Bilingual System Operations Analyst (Japanese)

Overview

Monitor, control and maintain systems across Kyndryl's infrastructure environment, acting as a trusted advisor to customers and escalating outages or abnormal situations.

What you'll do

• Monitor, control and maintain cutting-edge systems across the infrastructure environment.
• Monitor and validate events and/or alerts.
• Execute preventative tasks.
• Escalate potential outages or abnormal situations.
• Offer insights into best practices and resource utilization to customers.
• Collaborate with diverse teams and specialists on projects.
• Interact directly with customers to understand their needs.

What you'll need

• Fluent in Japanese (JLPT N3 or above) and English, both written and verbal.
• Excellent Japanese skills in both translation and interpretation.
• Proficiency in IT systems, including networks, hardware, software and troubleshooting.
• Experienced in handling client communication and negotiations.
• At least 2 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in an IT or technical setting.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Hands-on experience.
• A growth mindset, customer focus and an open, borderless approach to working with others.

Nice to have

• In-depth knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems.
• Experience or technical knowledge of batch operations.
• Ability to communicate effectively, both verbal and written.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology or other related fields.
• Windows Server certification.
