Shift Engineer, Noida

Overview

Iron Mountain is seeking a Shift Engineer for its Data Center Operations team in Noida. The role involves planning, organizing, and supervising shift operations and maintenance to ensure equipment availability, uptime, and facility safety.

What you'll do

• Plan, organize, and supervise planned and unplanned maintenance activities for critical systems.
• Execute maintenance across High Tension/Low Tension Electrical, Diesel Generators, Fire Alarms, and HVAC.
• Conduct root cause analysis for operational incidents to prevent downtime.
• Coordinate with customer engineering teams, OEMs, and external vendors to track complaints and SLAs.
• Coordinate emergency responses and handle customer queries promptly.
• Maintain physical security, safety standards, and government regulation adherence.
• Prepare risk assessments and standard operating procedures and conduct regular audits.

What you'll need

• 6–12 years of experience in data center operations and critical facility infrastructure management.
• Strong knowledge of critical systems including electrical (HT/LT), diesel generators, and fire suppression.
• Knowledge of Building Management Systems, access control, and capacity management.
• Proven ability in incident management, vendor management, and shift planning.
• Ability to perform root cause analysis while maintaining SLA and compliance standards.
• Minimum Diploma or equivalent qualification in Electrical Engineering.
