Site Reliability Engineer

Overview

Own reliability engineering for digital banking and financial services platforms, focusing on availability, performance, resilience, automation, service-level objectives, monitoring, and incident response.

What you'll do

• Define SLOs, error budgets, reliability targets, and change-risk assessments.
• Own build, test, and deployment pipelines across staging, UAT, and production.
• Design CI/CD automation and enforce version-control policies.
• Engineer zero-downtime deployments and low-impact change strategies.
• Maintain rollback, failover, and disaster-recovery runbooks.
• Lead post-incident reviews and improve automation, standardization, and observability.
• Report reliability metrics, incident trends, and change risks to stakeholders.

What you'll need

• 5–7 years in SRE, DevOps, or platform engineering within financial services or fintech.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Experience with CI/CD, AWS or Azure, Docker, and Kubernetes.
• Proficiency in Python or Bash scripting.
• Experience with Terraform or Ansible and observability tools.
• Experience maintaining reliability for real-time transaction systems, mobile banking, or payment gateways.
• Familiarity with regulatory compliance requirements for production systems.
