Site Reliability Engineer III

Overview

Senior Site Reliability (SRE) role leading reliability engineering to improve availability, scalability, and observability across the platform.

What you'll do

• Design and evolve infrastructure for high availability, fault tolerance, and scalability across public clouds.
• Define and enforce reliability objectives using SLIs, SLOs, and error budgets.
• Lead incident response and conduct blameless postmortems to drive system-wide changes.
• Drive adoption of deep observability across telemetry, logs, metrics, and tracing.
• Build automation and self-healing tools to reduce toil.
• Contribute to infrastructure as code and CI/CD/deployment automation.
• Implement testing strategies, canary deployments, and release validation pipelines.

What you'll need

• 5+ years of hands-on software engineering experience.
• At least 2 years in Site Reliability, Platform Engineering, or similar.
• Deep experience building systems on public cloud providers (Azure preferred).
• Strong programming skills in JS, Node, Typescript, Go, Java, C#, or similar.
• Experience delivering monitoring, alerting, and observability tooling (Prometheus, Grafana, OpenTelemetry examples).
• Experience with IaC tools like Terraform/Pulumi and container orchestration like Kubernetes.
• Solid understanding of distributed systems, cloud networking, and cloud-native system design.
