Site Support Engineer

Overview

Provide onsite technical support for employees at office or client locations, resolving hardware, software, connectivity, endpoint, and meeting-room technology issues.

What you'll do

• Provide face-to-face support for laptops, desktops, mobile devices, printers, and peripherals.
• Install, configure, maintain, and replace IT hardware and software.
• Troubleshoot Windows, macOS, Microsoft 365, VPN, Wi-Fi, LAN, and basic switching issues.
• Support onboarding, offboarding, device setup, account access, and equipment handover.
• Maintain tickets, asset records, technical documentation, and knowledge base articles.
• Coordinate hardware repairs, warranty claims, replacements, and vendor service visits.
• Support office moves, device refreshes, software rollouts, network upgrades, and secure equipment disposal.

What you'll need

• Experience in onsite IT, desktop, field, or service desk support.
• Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems.
• Experience supporting Microsoft 365, Outlook, Teams, OneDrive, SharePoint, and office applications.
• Knowledge of computer hardware, peripherals, printers, mobile devices, and basic networking.
• Ability to troubleshoot Wi-Fi, LAN, VPN, DNS, DHCP, and connectivity issues.
• Familiarity with ticketing systems such as ServiceNow, Jira, Freshservice, or Zendesk.
• Strong communication, customer service, problem-solving, documentation, and prioritization skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with Active Directory, Microsoft Entra ID, Intune, SCCM, or endpoint management tools.
• Knowledge of ITIL practices, cybersecurity controls, MFA, endpoint protection, and patching.
• Experience supporting meeting-room AV systems, asset management, or VIP users.
