Site Support Engineer

Overview

Provide hands-on onsite technical support for employees, systems, devices, networks, meeting rooms, and IT infrastructure at a company location. Act as the local IT contact while coordinating with remote service desk, infrastructure, security, and vendor teams.

What you'll do

• Provide face-to-face technical support for office or client-site users.
• Troubleshoot laptops, desktops, mobile devices, printers, peripherals, and connectivity issues.
• Install, configure, maintain, and replace IT hardware and software.
• Support Microsoft 365, VPN, email, collaboration tools, and business applications.
• Assist with onboarding, offboarding, device setup, account access, and equipment handover.
• Support meeting rooms, video conferencing systems, projectors, and AV equipment.
• Maintain tickets, asset records, documentation, inventory, and knowledge base articles.

What you'll need

• Experience in onsite IT, desktop, field, or service desk support.
• Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems.
• Experience supporting Microsoft 365, Outlook, Teams, OneDrive, and SharePoint.
• Knowledge of hardware, peripherals, printers, mobile devices, and basic networking.
• Ability to troubleshoot Wi-Fi, LAN, VPN, DNS, DHCP, and connectivity issues.
• Familiarity with ticketing systems such as ServiceNow, Jira, Freshservice, or Zendesk.
• Strong communication, customer service, problem-solving, documentation, and prioritization skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with Active Directory, Microsoft Entra ID, Intune, SCCM, or endpoint management tools.
• Knowledge of ITIL practices, cybersecurity controls, MFA, endpoint protection, and patching.
• Experience with asset management, meeting room systems, AV support, or VIP users.
