Software Application Development Engineer

Overview

Develop and support full-stack software applications used in semiconductor manufacturing processes. The role covers frontend and backend development, testing, deployment, troubleshooting, and system integration.

What you'll do

• Gather and document business requirements with cross-functional teams.
• Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain full-stack applications.
• Troubleshoot and debug issues reported by end users.
• Implement secure coding practices and software legal compliance guidelines.
• Automate builds, deployments, and business processes with CI/CD pipelines.
• Design and integrate RESTful APIs.
• Coordinate technical integration, testing, and user acceptance across geographies.

What you'll need

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related discipline with 3+ years of software development experience.
• Proficiency in C# and Python.
• Experience with .NET Core and SQL databases.
• Hands-on expertise in ETL processes and data pipelines.
• Familiarity with Git and Azure DevOps workflows.
• Experience with Microsoft development tools, Linux or Microsoft operating systems, and Oracle or Microsoft databases.

Nice to have

• Experience with PowerShell, Matlab, or PowerBI.
• Knowledge of process control, run-to-run control, or factory automation systems.
• Exposure to machine learning, AI, Docker, or Kubernetes.
• Experience contributing to industry or academic research projects.
