Overview
Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable, secure, and user-friendly software applications and infrastructure that enable Intel Foundry to securely manage, process, and share proprietary and sensitive data. Collaborate with engineering, product, domain experts, UI/UX stakeholders, product security engineers, and other cross-functional teams while exploring Generative AI and Large Language Models (LLMs) to enhance enterprise software platforms.
What you'll do
- Design, develop, test, and maintain software applications and infrastructure for managing proprietary and sensitive data.
- Analyze existing applications, create technical design plans, and implement enhancements in collaboration with subject matter experts.
- Ensure software solutions meet functional, performance, scalability, and security requirements.
- Write clean, reusable, maintainable, and testable code following established coding standards and best practices.
- Develop and execute unit tests, integration tests, and end-to-end tests to ensure application quality, reliability, and performance.
- Analyze user stories to implement functional and test code effectively.
- Automate build and deployment processes for software applications.
- Collaborate with UI/UX stakeholders to identify opportunities to improve usability and overall user experience.
- Collaborate with product security engineers to complete secure development lifecycle tasks.
- Leverage Generative AI and Large Language Models (LLMs) to innovate and enhance software functionality.
- Participate in code reviews, debugging, and troubleshooting activities.
- Communicate technical concepts and design decisions clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
What you'll need
- Bachelor/Masters degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field and 3+ years of hands-on experience in software development; OR a Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field with 2+ years of hands-on experience; OR a PhD in a relevant field with no prior professional experience.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or C++.
- Experience with full-stack software frameworks and development practices.
- Knowledge of agile methodology and DevOps processes.
- Understanding of secure coding practices and software legal compliance guidelines.
- Familiarity with software test automation tools and static code analysis techniques.

- Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
- Proven problem-solving abilities to address complex technical challenges.
- Experience with database engineering and design patterns.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms, CI/CD pipelines, and enterprise-scale software systems.

- 5 years experience with frontend and backend technologies such as Ruby on Rails, React, Python, or similar frameworks.
- Experience working in cross-functional or globally distributed teams.
- BE / BTech / MTech in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Strong foundation in computer science fundamentals, including object-oriented design, data structures and algorithms, and complexity analysis.
- Strong understanding of modern UI/UX principles in software development.
- Ability to leverage LLMs and Generative AI to enhance and innovate software solutions.
