Software Dev Engineer - C, Linux & Networking (3-5 Years)

Overview

Software Dev Engineer to design and develop software features for a SonicWall firewall product line.

What you'll do

• Design and develop new software features on SonicWall firewall product-line.
• Deliver features on time with high quality.
• Diagnose and help resolve issues reported by customers.
• Maintain existing features by implementing enhancements and fixing bugs.
• Write functional and design specifications and support documentation needs.
• Collaborate on code reviews, test case reviews, and process enhancements.

What you'll need

• 3–4+ years of software development experience with a relevant degree.
• Proficiency in C with 3+ years of experience.
• Knowledge of networking protocols and the TCP/IP stack.
• Good experience with Linux operating systems and multi-threading.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Nice to have

• Hands-on experience with Firewalls, SD-WAN, Routing technologies, VPNs, and High Availability.
• Experience in embedded system development.
• Comfortable in a fast-paced, agile team environment with multi-tasking.
• Hands-on experience with GDB.
