Software Dev Senior Engineer – SRE & Cloud Reliability

Overview

Senior Software Engineer responsible for reliability, scalability, and operational excellence of Cloud-based services in an SRE/DevOps model.

What you'll do

• Define, publish, and refine SLIs, SLOs, and SLAs for critical services.
• Own and manage the error budget framework, tracking consumption and enforcing policies.
• Build observability platforms including metrics, structured logging, and distributed tracing.
• Reduce toil by automating repetitive manual operational work.
• Design and run chaos engineering programs to uncover reliability weaknesses.
• Lead blameless postmortems and drive corrective actions to completion.

What you'll need

• 8+ years in scalable, distributed systems architecture.
• 3+ years hands-on SRE experience owning SLOs and error budget management.
• 4+ years experience with cloud platforms including AWS.
• 4+ years experience with infrastructure as code (Terraform, AWS CDK).
• 5+ years scripting in Python, Shell, or similar language.
• 4+ years experience with orchestration technologies including Kubernetes.
• Demonstrated experience designing and operating observability stacks (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, OpenTelemetry, Jaeger).
