Overview

Software Development Engineer II for HighLevel Conversations, focused on building and scaling backend systems and frontend interfaces for the Threads & Composer experience.

What you'll do

Design, build, and scale backend systems and frontend interfaces for Threads & Composer.
Own backend and API design, data flows, and performance work.
Own the Vue 3 UI layer end-to-end.
Work on critical paths that process billions of messages per month.
Ensure reliability, throughput, and correctness at scale for message and UI state.
Use Node.js microservices and GCP-based infrastructure to deliver and store interactions.

What you'll need

Experience with Node.js microservices.
Experience with GCP infrastructure including GKE, Pub/Sub, and Cloud Tasks.
Experience with MongoDB and/or Firestore for storage.
Ability to keep message delivery and UI state consistent, fast, and recoverable.
