Software Development Engineer II

Overview

Software Development Engineer II role on a fast-moving team building customer-facing and internal platforms at scale.

What you'll do

• Design, develop, test, and maintain full stack applications (frontend, backend, and APIs).
• Write clean, maintainable, well-tested code and participate in code reviews.
• Use AI coding assistants as part of development and debugging workflows.
• Debug production issues across the stack, from UI to services to data layer.
• Translate requirements into technical designs in collaboration with the team.
• Contribute to architecture decisions and help improve CI/CD and observability.
• Participate in on-call rotations and incident response as needed.

What you'll need

• 3+ years of professional software development experience as a Full Stack Developer.
• Strong proficiency in at least one modern frontend framework (React, Angular, or Vue) and one backend language/framework (Java, Node.js, or Python).
• Solid understanding of REST/GraphQL APIs, databases (SQL/NoSQL), and system design fundamentals.
• Hands-on experience using AI tools for code development and debugging (e.g., Copilot, Claude Code, Cursor, ChatGPT for coding).
• Experience with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP).
• Strong problem-solving skills to debug complex, multi-layered systems.
• Experience building or working with AI agents using LLMs for autonomous multi-step workflows.
