Software Engineer Java

Overview

Software Engineer (Java) role in ZEISS’ Monetization Platforms, focused on building and maintaining subscription platforms.

What you'll do

• Develop and maintain ZEISS subscription platforms.
• Continuously improve subscription processes with a Product Owner, developers, and testers.
• Write high-quality code and validate it using unit, integration, and acceptance testing.
• Design functional and technical architectures that convert business processes into digital solutions.
• Develop and operate subscription solutions in an agile DevOps environment.
• Apply CI/CD, test automation, and orchestration solutions to advance the platform.
• Support the team in resolving user issues.

What you'll need

• Degree completed in computer science, business information systems, or comparable field.
• 2-6 years’ experience with agile software development across the full lifecycle.
• Good knowledge of requirements analysis through release and maintenance.
• Experience with REST, API management, SQL, and Java.
• Knowledge of Zuora is required/explicit as an advantage (preferred).
• Experience in design, architecture, and scaling of software applications.
• Fluent written and spoken English.
