Software Development Engineer III, AI Data Engineering

Overview

AI Data Science Engineer (Software Development Engineer III, AI Data Engineering) focused on delivering AI-powered, data-driven insights for the Global Market Access and HEOR IT function.

What you'll do

• Develop and deliver AI-powered solutions to accelerate medicines reaching patients.
• Build ML pipelines designed to evolve with new and/or improved modeling approaches.
• Partner with business and IT groups to scale and operationalize AI solutions.
• Educate business stakeholders on practical AI applications that drive business value.
• Act as a knowledge expert in foundation models and communicate insights to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Stay current with data science and ML trends and apply learnings to drive innovation.

What you'll need

• 6+ years of experience in data & analytics, typically gained through a university degree.
• Advanced knowledge across data & analytics and thorough knowledge of other functions.
• Skills in data provisioning, data mining, data visualization, and machine learning.
• Programming/code development in Python and/or R.
• Hands-on experience with GitHub and cloud computing platforms such as AWS.
• Experience with model governance using MLFlow or equivalent.

Nice to have

• Experience building RAG pipelines, chat applications, and implementing AI agents.
• Familiarity with frameworks such as LlamaIndex and LangChain.
• Familiarity with Hugging Face models.
• Familiarity with vision models.

Details

• On-site protocol uses an occupancy structure: site-essential (100% shifts onsite) and site-by-design (hybrid eligible with at least 50% onsite).
