Software Development Engineer in Test

Overview

As a Software Development Engineer in Test 2 on the Certent Disclosure Management (CDM) team, you will drive quality left by designing, building, and maintaining automated test infrastructure for a financial reporting solution. You will work closely with development and DevOps to architect test automation frameworks and help ensure CDM ships reliable, high-quality releases to enterprise customers.

What you'll do

• Work with development and DevOps to drive quality left across the CDM product.
• Design, develop, and maintain automated test infrastructure and regression suites.
• Architect and extend test automation frameworks for web, desktop, API, and performance testing.
• Develop custom, reusable test automation libraries in C#.
• Build and maintain automated tests using Selenium and related tooling.
• Participate in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives.
• Support multiple testing efforts simultaneously and respond to technical queries from the team.

What you'll need

• Strong proficiency in C# for developing automated tests and test tooling.
• Hands-on experience with Selenium and other test automation tools, such as Cypress and Ranorex.
• Experience designing and building test automation frameworks from scratch.
• Experience with CI/CD and source control tools, such as Jenkins, Azure DevOps, Git, and Bitbucket.
• Proficiency designing, developing, and maintaining test cases and test suites.
• Experience working in an Agile Scrum/Kanban development environment.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, or a related technical discipline (BTech).
• 4+ of automation development experience.
