Software Development Engineer in Test

Overview

Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) role focused on ensuring software quality through manual and automated testing, collaborating with engineering and product teams to meet quality standards.

What you'll do

• Collaborate with engineers and product managers to deliver high-quality products.
• Perform functional, regression, and smoke testing on new and existing products.
• Review documentation to define requirements and create test cases and plans.
• Execute manual tests and report results across functional, regression, end-to-end, database, and web services testing.
• Drive testing best practices including performance, load, and security testing.
• Develop, maintain, and execute automated test cases and keep the test suite up to date.
• Work in CI/CD to run and schedule automated tests and design test strategies and tools.

What you'll need

• 4+ years of experience with object-oriented programming languages and techniques (Node, TypeScript, JS, Java, RDBMS, Rest APIs).
• 3+ years of experience developing and maintaining test automation for Backend (predominantly), Web & Mobile Applications.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
• Experience working in an Agile Scrum QA environment.
• Mentor junior members of the team.
