Software Development Engineer Test, iOS

Overview

Fox is hiring an SDET (L2) for its digital Product Engineering iOS team to ensure high-quality iOS releases. The role focuses on building automation frameworks, defining end-to-end test strategies, and supporting quality engineering in an Agile scrum team.

What you'll do

• Create, maintain, and execute test plans and test cases across iOS applications.
• Analyze and communicate test results, including defect tracking.
• Execute white box, black box, and manual testing.
• Design and extend an automation library and automated testing frameworks/tools.
• Engage in cross-functional integration testing with teams and third parties.
• Support production releases per sprint and monitor product development/usage for quality improvement.
• Perform API-level testing using Postman or Charles Proxy.

What you'll need

• 3-7 years industry experience.
• Experience with XCUITest and/or Appium (iOS) frameworks.
• Solid understanding of iOS application architecture, Xcode, and the iOS SDK.
• Experience testing with simulators and real devices, including TestFlight or Firebase Test Lab.
• Experience with Agile methodologies.
• Hands-on scripting/coding experience in automation testing tools (e.g., Selenium/Appium) and frameworks (e.g., Cucumber/Pytest/TestNG/mocha/chai/mocha/chai/nightwatchJS/CodeceptJS).
• Experience with Git and CI tools.
