Overview

Sr Professional II role focused on building and delivering high-quality, bug-free changes for the Payment Switch domain, including BAU fixes and Level 3 production support.

What you'll do

• Perform BAU fixes and development projects on Payment Switch.
• Provide Level 3 production support for Payment Switch.
• Proactively identify improvements for production support systems.
• Support SIT and UAT for Payment Switch development projects.
• Create and review implementation plans.
• Deploy code into production.
• Analyze bi-annual compliance mandates and coordinate with other technology teams.
• Coordinate system-related activities across teams.

What you'll need

• Minimum 6+ years of working experience in any Payment Switch.
• Strong domain/product knowledge of Payment Switch and the card payments industry.
• Deep expertise in AIX, POSIX IPC (shared memory, message queues, semaphores), and AIX kernel internals.
• ACI NETX familiarity preferred.
• Experience with C, Linux systems programming, POSIX, and GCC/Clang.
• Experience with Valgrind/ASan, multi-process architecture, and network programming (sockets, epoll).
• Experience with ISO 8583.
• Good analytical, problem solving, and troubleshooting skills.

Nice to have

• POS experience.
• Ability to speak, write, and read English at advanced-intermediate level.
• Knowledge of fraud prevention solutions (e.g., Falcon Fraud Manager).
• Agile development experience.
