Software Development Manager

Overview

Software Development Manager leading multiple software development squads to deliver complex web and enterprise applications in an Agile environment.

What you'll do

• Lead multiple software development squads toward technical solutions for product functionalities.
• Define objectives/deliverables with emphasis on scalability, maintainability, security, and performance.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical impediments for the team.
• Coach, train, and provide regular feedback to team members.
• Coordinate with Dev Managers and the Architecture Team to define new designs/solutions.
• Coordinate team deployments and set up/maintain CI/CD pipelines.
• Perform code reviews and address code smells, bugs, and technical bottlenecks.

What you'll need

• 5 years of hands-on software development life cycle experience (coding, peer reviewing, production issues).
• Minimum 3 years of management/technical lead experience.
• Experience with .NET Framework, .NET Core, REST, SOAP, and performance tuning.
• Prior experience with Agile.
• Strong knowledge of CI/CD tools/workflows.
• Knowledge of Domain-Driven Design and micro-service architectures.
• Knowledge of SQL Server, NoSQL, and/or Oracle databases and API design.
