Software Engineer

Overview

Full stack engineer role on Fidelity Health & Benefits Accounts Debit Card Insourcing team within Workplace Investing, focused on delivering stable, resilient digital web apps.

What you'll do

• Partner with experience platform squads on engineering standards, methodologies, and tooling.
• Collaborate with team members to analyze and solve problems.
• Upskill and augment squads with knowledge of cloud technologies.
• Align architecture, user experience, and security through chapters and COEs.
• Build and integrate middle-tier services with REST APIs.
• Develop quality-first solutions using TDD and automation.

What you'll need

• 2-4 years of experience designing and implementing APIs in a cloud-native environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Strong experience building enterprise digital applications using MVC, micro front-end, and open microservice architectures.
• Knowledge of 12-factor methodology, containerization, and cloud technologies.
• Skills in Angular and TypeScript for responsive UI development.
• Good experience with Java and Spring Boot for middle-tier services.
• Experience with CI/CD and DevOps, including shift-left practices.
