Software Engineer

Overview

Software Engineer (Platform & Integrations) owning end-to-end delivery of complex features for backend platform and services.

What you'll do

• Design, build, and maintain scalable, secure, and observable backend services and microservices.
• Optimize backend performance and contribute to upgrading core platform infrastructure.
• Implement secure coding practices for data exchange and compliance in a multi-tenant SaaS environment.
• Collaborate with Product and QA to scope requirements, break down complex tasks, and support sprint delivery.
• Write automated tests, conduct code reviews, and mentor junior team members.

What you'll need

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 4+ years of professional software engineering experience in a product-driven environment building SaaS applications.
• Strong proficiency in Java and Spring Boot, plus RESTful API development.
• Experience with PostgreSQL or MySQL, including complex SQL query optimization and schema design.
• Practical experience with AWS (or another major cloud provider) and container orchestration using Docker and Kubernetes/EKS.
• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles.
• Solid understanding of network/file transfer protocols (e.g., SFTP, HTTPS, AS2) and secure communication standards (SSL/TLS, encryption).
