Software Engineer

Overview

Software Engineer role focused on building and maintaining web classification capabilities in a cybersecurity environment.

What you'll do

• Develop and maintain automation processes for capturing intelligence data.
• Perform quality assurance and regularly deliver intelligence classification results.
• Establish continuous quality assurance for external and internal intelligence feeds.
• Develop metrics to measure solution success and identify improvement opportunities.
• Serve as an expert for automated content classification for product management and technical support.
• Implement customer feedback and change requests, and harmonize web classification across on-premise and cloud portfolio.

What you'll need

• Strong practical experience with Python, including web requests, data parsing, and API integration libraries.
• Knowledge of Perl and C++ is a plus.
• Very good understanding of web technologies including HTTP, DNS, WHOIS, DOM structure, and SSL/TLS certificates.
• Experience with threat intelligence and common threat feeds (examples mentioned).
• Customer-oriented interest in collaborating with technical support, customers, and vendors to resolve categorization disagreements.
• Fluent English in speaking and writing is required.
