Software Engineer 4 role focused on building and scaling cloud-based media encoding pipelines and related infrastructure for workflow orchestration, metadata publishing, prioritization, and catalog management.

What you'll do

• Develop highly scalable, cloud-based encoding pipelines for generating media assets in multiple formats and quality levels.
• Build workflow orchestration for media encoding pipelines.
• Publish and propagate media metadata across the surrounding ecosystem.
• Support task prioritization and catalog management for media-related workflows.
• Collaborate with technical and non-technical cross-functional partners.
• Take ownership of projects from conception to production.

What you'll need

• 2+ years of working experience.
• Proficiency in Java and object-oriented (OO) design principles.
• Experience designing and developing large-scale distributed systems.
• Experience with cloud computing platforms such as Amazon AWS.
• Interest in automated testing, code quality, and engineering best practices.
