Software Engineer - 6+yrs - React.js/Angular/Java

Overview

Software Engineer role focused on building and deploying features for Cisco’s IIoT device management, including streamlined network and security management for industrial users.

What you'll do

• Integrate AI-assisted coding tools and machine learning models into the SDLC to automate routine tasks and accelerate delivery.
• Develop and maintain high-performance, scalable full-stack services using Java, Python, or Golang with React JS or Angular.
• Collaborate with UX designers, product managers, and backend engineers to translate requirements into technical specifications and user experiences.
• Run front-end and back-end development processes including code reviews, unit testing, and performance optimization for low latency and high throughput.
• Participate in agile development including sprint planning, estimation, and continuous software delivery.
• Lead design, development, and deployment of features integrating devices, sensors, applications, and networking equipment for industrial data collection and analysis.

What you'll need

• 6+ years of professional software development experience with focus on full-stack and web application architecture.
• Deep proficiency in ReactJS or Angular, including state management, component architecture, and web performance optimization.
• Backend expertise using Java, Python, or Golang, including designing and consuming RESTful APIs.
• Familiarity with database modeling and technologies such as MongoDB, Cassandra, or relational databases.
• Strong written and oral communication skills to articulate technical concepts to diverse stakeholders.
• Strong passion for continuous learning and applying emerging web technologies to real-world problems.
