Software Engineer

Overview

Software Engineer role focused on designing, building, testing, deploying, and supporting digital platform capabilities for Corporate Affairs digital products and services.

What you'll do

• Design and develop digital platform capabilities including components, services, APIs, integrations, and automation solutions.
• Write clean, maintainable, secure, and well-tested code aligned to engineering standards.
• Contribute to technical design choices, code reviews, and feasibility assessments.
• Participate in Agile delivery activities such as refinement, sprint planning, estimation, demos, and retrospectives.
• Build and maintain automated tests and support CI/CD, release automation, and deployment processes.
• Support platform operations using monitoring, observability, incident support, and problem solving.

What you'll need

• Experience building and supporting digital products or web/CMS-backed services, APIs, integrations, or cloud-native applications.
• Strong software engineering fundamentals including code quality, testing, maintainability, security, performance, and design patterns.
• Experience with Agile delivery, version control, CI/CD, automated testing, and DevOps ways of working.
• Understanding of operational readiness, monitoring/logging, incident support, and production service ownership.
• Experience working with suppliers, distributed teams, and cross-functional stakeholders.
