What you'll do

• Engineer and maintain software solutions and associated scripts/tools.
• Produce complex and critical software with high quality and speed.
• Collaborate with engineers, architects, and business analysts across the platform.
• Design, produce, test, and implement working code.
• Work end-to-end from requirements analysis and design through coding, testing, deployment, and operations.
• Collaborate to optimise software engineering capability.

What you'll need

• At least 8 years of experience in software engineering, design, architecture, and customer support.
• Experience with development and testing tools, bug tracking tools, and wikis.
• Java, microservices, and AWS experience.
• DevOps, testing, and Agile methodology experience with associated toolsets.
• Background in solving highly complex, analytical, and numerical problems.
• Experience implementing best practices for scalability, automation, virtualisation, optimisation, availability, and performance.
