Software Engineer

Overview

Software Engineer role at Hewlett Packard Enterprise focused on designing, developing, troubleshooting, and debugging software programs for enhancements and new products.

What you'll do

• Code and implement enhancements, updates, and changes for portions and subsystems of systems software.
• Execute established test plans and protocols and debug assigned issues.
• Work with internal and outsourced development partners on software systems design and development.
• Contribute as a member of a project team to deliver reliable, cost-effective, high-quality solutions.

What you'll need

• Typically requires a bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, information systems, or equivalent.
• Requires typically 1+ years of experience.
• Experience in C, C++ or Java.
• Knowledge of Linux device driver or system-side programming.
• Knowledge in networking.
• Basic testing, coding, and debugging procedures knowledge.
• Good written and verbal communication; mastery in English and local language.

Details

• Work mode is Hybrid, averaging 2 days per week from an HPE office.
• Location: Bengaluru, Karnātaka, India.
