Software Engineer - C++ Linux Middleware

Overview

Software Engineer focused on C++ Linux middleware development for automotive platforms and integrated technology.

What you’ll do

• Design, develop, and maintain middleware solutions using C++ on Linux.
• Integrate middleware components with other system components.
• Analyze and optimize middleware performance for low latency and high throughput.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex middleware functionality/performance issues.
• Provide technical guidance and support to junior team members.

What you’ll need

• Proficiency in C++ (C++11/C++14/C++17).
• Experience with Linux operating system and development environment.
• Knowledge of middleware technologies such as D-Bus, IPC, and message queues.
• 3–6 years developing and maintaining complex middleware solutions.
• Understanding of system integration, testing, and validation.
• Ability to debug complex issues using tools like gdb.

Nice to have

• Experience with Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban).
• Knowledge of networking protocols (TCP/IP, HTTP, MQTT).
• Familiarity with version control systems (Git, SVN).
• Knowledge of cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
• Experience with DevOps tools (Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes).

• Office-based work with in-person collaboration; most office-based roles onsite.
• Five days a week.
