Job description

Overview

Software Engineer (Global Role) in the Monetization Platforms department, focused on client development for ZEISS licensing platform.

What you'll do

Develop the licensing client using C++.
Own end-to-end lifecycle of C++ libraries on Windows and Linux, including implementation, testing, documentation, releases, and maintenance.
Integrate native C++ client components into larger application landscapes.
Collaborate with architects and backend engineers for seamless integration with licensing backends and customer-facing tools.
Contribute to build, test, and release pipeline improvements in Azure DevOps for cross-platform client libraries.
Participate in incident analysis and defect resolution for client integration issues.

What you'll need

2-7 years of experience as stated for the role.
Hands-on modern C++ development experience in a professional software product environment.
Proven experience developing libraries/SDKs for external consumers, including API design, versioning, and backward compatibility.
Experience developing and troubleshooting C++ libraries on Windows and Linux.
Experience working in agile teams (Scrum/Kanban) using Git-based workflows and peer reviews.
Solid understanding of modern C++ practices including memory management.
