Overview

Software Engineer for Point72’s Controller’s Technology team. You’ll build and support tools and platforms that modernize P&L reporting and streamline downstream business processes.

What you’ll do

• Design, develop, and support ETL, data warehouse, and process flow components.
• Build P&L validation and adjustment tools and a P&L reporting framework.
• Modernize the P&L reporting platform and streamline the business process.
• Develop analytical tools to support firm management and portfolio managers and reporting needs across Finance, Operations, Audit, and Technology.
• Develop a quantitative understanding of the P&L process and data flow to anticipate new requirements.
• Innovate and improve capabilities to deliver high-quality products to business partners.

What you’ll need

• Strong data engineering, analytics, ETL, and reconciliation skills.
• Programming skills using T-SQL, Python, and Airflow.
• 5 years of programming experience.
• End-to-end system design, development, support, and user coordination experience.
• Strong development skills using Python or C#.
• Strong data visualization skills using JavaScript/React.
• Team player with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
