Software Engineer - Dynamic Tables

Overview

Software Engineer for Snowflake’s Dynamic Tables team in Berlin, focused on building dynamic data platform capabilities using declarative SQL.

What you'll do

• Design and build Dynamic Tables capabilities with engineers and Product Managers.
• Design, implement, support, and evolve new features and performance improvements.
• Analyze and solve performance, correctness, and fault-tolerance challenges at scale.
• Break down ambiguous problems and make technical and product decisions.
• Ensure operational readiness and reliability/availability/performance commitments.
• Investigate unfamiliar parts of a large system to root cause and solve issues.

What you'll need

• 2+ years of industry experience designing/building database internals or data-intensive systems, or equivalent research.
• Strong CS fundamentals in data structures, algorithms, and distributed systems.
• Ability to take a problem from open question to software running in production.
• Proficiency with AI-native software engineering and agentic development workflows.
• BS in Computer Science or related field.
• Strong English communication skills.
