Software Engineer

Overview

Design, develop, test, and maintain embedded software solutions using C, C++, Python, and Linux while following secure coding and quality practices.

What you'll do

• Support design, development, testing, debugging, and maintenance of embedded software applications.
• Follow software development processes, coding standards, and quality practices.
• Apply object-oriented principles for feature implementation and maintenance.
• Contribute to test-driven software development and software verification activities.
• Develop and maintain software for Bare Metal and Linux-based embedded target environments.
• Support cybersecurity compliance activities using security scan tools and remediation.
• Participate in Agile Scrum ceremonies and collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve technical issues.

What you'll need

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• 2–4 years of professional software development experience with hands-on coding across multiple technology stacks including embedded software.
• Experience with formal software development processes.
• Experience with object-oriented and test-driven software development.
• Experience developing Bare Metal or Linux embedded target environments.
• Solid C, C++, Python, and Linux experience.
• Understanding of cybersecurity issues and security scan tools.

Nice to have

• UI development experience and proficiency in Angular & Electron.

• Office presence required 4 days per week.
