Software Engineer

Overview

Frontend Software Engineer for Coinbase’s Financial Services & Loyalty team, building user-facing web and mobile experiences for card, payments, and loyalty products.

What you'll do

• Own end-to-end frontend development for financial services products across web and mobile.
• Build features for card onboarding, rewards, transactions, and payment flows.
• Drive experimentation and funnel optimization to improve conversion, activation, and retention.
• Partner with product, design, and backend engineering to translate requirements into frontend experiences.
• Identify and resolve frontend performance bottlenecks affecting latency and availability SLOs.

What you'll need

• 3+ years of software engineering experience with a focus on React and React Native.
• Experience owning features end to end from technical design through production release.
• Experience with experimentation frameworks and funnel optimization with measurement and iteration.
• Proven ability to collaborate cross-functionally to deliver features on time and at high quality.
• Ability to use generative AI responsibly with human oversight.
