Senior Software Engineer - Model Platform

Overview

Senior Software Engineer for Abnormal AI’s Detection Team, focusing on Model Platform systems for ML/data science workflows and detection capabilities.

What you'll do

• Architect, design, build, deploy, and maintain model serving infrastructure.
• Scale model serving and data processing services to support 10x traffic.
• Build a platform for fighting rapidly generated AI attacks.
• Own real-time/near real-time streaming pipelines and online feature serving.
• Build and improve the ML Training platform for MLE velocity and precision/recall.
• Collaborate with MLE and Data Science teams and execute feedback-driven strategy.
• Coach and mentor junior engineers through 1:1s, pair programming, and code/design reviews.

What you'll need

• 5+ years of experience as a Software Engineer (or similar) with hands-on ML-engineering-focused solutions.
• Experience maintaining large-scale distributed systems on AWS, GCP, or Azure.
• Experience maintaining real-time or near real-time high-scale data pipelines/streaming services.
• Proven collaboration across teams such as data scientists, ML engineers, and product managers.
• Ability to translate requirements into actionable technical tasks and adapt to feedback.
• Familiarity with ML workflows, including feature development/serving at 50K+ QPS and offline/online equivalency.
• Knowledge of security and compliance frameworks related to data engineering and data privacy.
