Software Engineer I

Overview

Software Engineer I develops and maintains software solutions for products and systems, collaborating on software-hardware integrations and validating software functionality.

What you'll do

• Collaborate with team members to establish requirements for less complex design projects.
• Complete software engineering project phases including coding, debugging, testing, and deployment.
• Analyze processes and systems and deliver results to key stakeholders.
• Analyze and interpret results to recommend software and system improvements.
• Develop and test software solutions for products to meet quality and performance standards.
• Create and maintain documentation for code, design specifications, and test results.
• Review and evaluate changes or upgrades to existing designs or test processes.

What you'll need

• 1+ years of experience in software development or a related field.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field (advanced degree acceptable).
• Familiarity with programming languages, operating systems, algorithms, and software development frameworks.
• Basic understanding of software development life cycles (e.g., Agile, Scrum).
• Quantitative, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
