Software Engineer I, Digital Experience

Overview

Software Engineer I for Mastercam’s ecommerce capability, building and maintaining features within the WordPress environment.

What you'll do

• Develop ecommerce features under guidance from a senior engineer.
• Build administrative and internal tooling interfaces for business workflows.
• Implement and maintain integrations between WordPress and internal/third-party systems.
• Design, develop, and test software to resolve defects and implement user stories.
• Maintain and update the existing codebase and document completed work.
• Participate in code reviews and act on feedback received.

What you'll need

• 1–3 years’ experience developing web applications.
• Working knowledge of PHP, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
• Experience developing custom WordPress functionality (theme/plugin development).
• Familiarity with source control and peer review practices.
• Exposure to relational databases and SQL.
• Exposure to agile software development.
