Overview

Software Engineer I - Java role within Appian’s Chief Technology Office (CTO) team, focused on designing, building, and testing platform features.

What you'll do

Design, build, and test features for the Appian platform.
Work across global Product and Engineering teams.
Jump between Appian low-code, plug-ins, and the internal codebase.
Prototype innovative features impacting the Appian product vision.

What you'll need

1 or 2 years total experience (graduate target).
Previous industry software development experience and/or internships.
Practical knowledge of programming concepts and best practices for full-stack web and mobile environments.
Experience with React, JavaScript, Java, and Python.
Experience using open source software and Git.
Basic Qualifications: B.S. in Computer Science or related field/degree.
Strong written and spoken English communication skills.

Details

On-site role expected at the Chennai office 5 days a week.
Location: Chennai, India.
