Software Engineer II (Argentina)

Overview

Software Engineer II role for a full-stack engineering team at Sezzle. You’ll design, build, and deliver new features, collaborate on architecture discussions, and support production reliability.

What you'll do

• Design, develop, and deliver new product features with other engineers.
• Collaborate with feature owners to gain insight and suggest improvements.
• Participate in design and architecture discussions for next-generation features.
• Build and deploy scalable solutions.
• Assist with planning, estimations, and project completion.
• Contribute to codebase and code reviews.
• Join an on-call rotation to respond to production incidents.

What you'll need

• 3-7 years of experience for this mid-level role.
• React frontend familiarity with React experience preferred.
• Backend problem-solving experience with Go or similar statically typed compiled languages.
• Intermediate understanding of relational databases such as MySQL.
• Demonstrated experience working with Claude or equivalent large language model tools.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field.
• Comfort leveraging AI to enhance productivity, research, and communication.
