Overview

Software Engineer II (Java) in the Shared Technology Platforms portfolio of Global Business Services, building and maintaining high-performing software systems used by Global Banking and Markets Technology employees globally.

What you'll do

• Develop, enhance, and maintain Java-based backend applications.
• Design and implement RESTful APIs and integrations with external/internal systems.
• Work extensively with Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Security.
• Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code following best practices and coding standards.
• Work with relational databases (MySQL, Mybatis).
• Implement unit testing using JUnit, Mockito, and increase overall coverage.
• Deploy and monitor applications using CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab).

What you'll need

• B.E./B.Tech/M.E./M.Tech/BSC/MSC/BCA/MCA (prefer IT/CS specialization).
• 4-6 years of experience.
• Java 8/21, OOP, Collections, Multithreading, Exception Handling.
• Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Security.
• REST APIs.
• Databases: MySQL, Mybatis, Oracle.
• DevOps / Tools: Git, Maven/Gradle, Jenkins, SonarQube, JIRA.
• Testing: JUnit, Mockito, Postman, Swagger.
