Software Engineer II

Overview

Software Engineer II supporting application and product engineers with customer problems and requests through problem analysis, debugging, fixes, and development of features and enhancements for synthesis results involving timing, area, and power. The role includes research and software engineering work in the electronic design automation problem domain.

What you'll do

• Provide R&D support to application and product engineers for customer problems and requests.
• Analyze problems, debug and fix issues, and develop new features and enhancements.
• Improve synthesis results with respect to timing, area, and power.
• Develop data analysis and debugging tools for performance analysis.
• Research and develop data-driven optimizations of geometric and topological operations for physical verification applications.
• Troubleshoot and debug physical verification software on large complex databases.
• Collaboratively develop and test advanced functionality with multiple geographically distributed teams.

What you'll need

• 2-4 years of experience.
• B.E./B.Tech./M.E./M.Tech. in EE, ECE, or CS.
• Strong programming skills in C++.
• Strong data structures and algorithms skills.
• Strong software engineering skills.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability and interest to learn and adapt to changing requirements and technologies.
