Software Engineer- II

Overview

Software Engineer II supporting finance-related functions and global ERP programs. The role combines functional advice, technical troubleshooting, custom solution development, and collaboration with business and development teams.

What you'll do

• Support finance-related functions and business customers.
• Troubleshoot complex JD Edwards issues and identify design gaps.
• Support third-party solutions integrated with the central ERP system.
• Maintain the integrity of financial data.
• Develop, implement, and document custom solutions.
• Advise development teams on functional and technical solutions.
• Communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

What you'll need

• 4–5 years of experience in accounting and FP&A-related functions.
• Financial background and understanding.
• Experience with Oracle, JD Edwards, SAP, or other ERP systems.
• CA, CMA, or MBA degree.
• Experience in a product-based industry.
• Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Detail-oriented, proactive, resourceful, and collaborative approach.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with US GAAP.
• Experience integrating ERP systems with third-party applications.
• Technical knowledge of ERP systems and database languages such as SQL.
• Prior shared-services experience.
• Familiarity with AI tools in ERP development workflows.
• Exposure to audit support and internal controls.
