Overview
As a Software Engineer II on the Indirect Procurement Technology team, you will support integration of procurement platforms and tools with SAP for indirect procurement processes.
What you'll do
- Support integration of PO, GR, Invoice and Remittance flows with SAP from various external procurement tools and platforms.
- Troubleshoot and resolve escalated production support issues spanning across systems, typically integration issues.
- Support new initiatives and projects by developing new interfaces or modifying existing interfaces.
- Partner with senior engineers, finance, and business teams to clarify audit requirements and ensure responses are complete and accurate.
- Participate in testing and validation activities for Coupa changes, including regression support and documentation of test results.
- Maintain documentation, including audit evidence logs, access review records, configuration change notes, and support procedures.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies and communicate progress, blockers, and risks to the team lead or senior engineer.
- Support integration of commodity tools such as Tririga, Beeline, and Legal tracker.
- Work with engineers across product squads and platform teams, including SAP (AFS, S4/HANA) and indirect procurement systems.
- Map integrations for PO, PO acknowledgement, Invoice, Invoice acknowledgement, Remittance, and remittance acknowledgment.
- Learn from senior team members through pairing, documentation reviews, and guided troubleshooting while contributing to team delivery and operational support.
What you'll need
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Min 4 years of overall experience in software engineering, IT application support, or enterprise business systems, with exposure to indirect procurement or finance technology.
- 2+ years of hands-on experience supporting integration for PO and non PO based invoices from various external systems to SAP in the indirect procurement space.
- Deep understanding of integration patterns, including API and file-based patterns.
- Expertise in mapping and target system behavior for SAP (AFS, S4/HANA).
- Experience working with cloud-based integration tools such as AWS, Azure, GCP, and Kafka.
- Familiarity with Procure-to-Pay (P2P) and Source-to-Pay (S2P) processes.
- Foundational understanding of Procure-to-Pay processes.
- Experience designing STM and developing interfaces with SAP from various external systems, specifically in the indirect procurement space.
