Overview

Software Engineer III (Eng) at UKG, working on design, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance of software solutions.

What you'll do

• Write clean, maintainable, efficient code for software applications and systems.
• Participate in design reviews with peers and stakeholders.
• Review other developers’ code and provide feedback aligned to coding guidelines.
• Build testable software, define tests, and automate tests (e.g., Junit, Selenium).
• Triage defects, debug, and resolve issues in a timely manner.
• Contribute to service health, quality, escalation, and root-cause analysis.

What you'll need

• 4+ years of professional software development experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/Engineering or equivalent practical experience.
• Proficiency in one or more languages: C, C++, C#, .NET, Python, Java, or JavaScript.
• Experience with software development practices and design patterns.
• Familiarity with Git/GitHub and JIRA (version control and bug/work tracking).
• Basic understanding of cloud technologies and DevOps principles.

Nice to have

• Experience with Azure, AWS, or GCP.
• Experience with test automation frameworks and tools.
• Knowledge of agile development methodologies.
